Join us for the annual California Coastal Cleanup, where we’ll clean debris from the shoreline at Marina Park in San Leandro! We’ll be part of the volunteer group with the city of San Leandro, who will provide cleanup materials. You will need to sign a waiver for you and your kids before being able to clean up.
Getting there/parking/time: the city is reserving the south parking lot at Marina Park (14001 Monarch Bay Drive, see https://www.sanleandro.org/facilities/facility/details/Marina-Park-11) at the farther point south near Heron Area. Cleanup starts at 8:30 am but they’d like us to be a little early to check in and get our assigned area. If there are no spots at the reserved area (unlikely, since we don’t normally get a huge crowd volunteering), there are other lots or the street to park on and walk over.
See map below for help navigating.
Thank you for your willingness to help beautify our shoreline at Marina Park. We’re excited to see you at Coastal Cleanup Day tomorrow!
